What’s for Breakfast?

Make a healthy breakfast in 2 1/2 mins

At the YMCA this morning I read an article about breakfast being the most important meal of the day.  Why, you might ask?  It jump starts your metabolism and helps you have the energy you need during the day –  A healthy breakfast will set the foundation for the day so you are more prepared when hunger strikes.

I will confess  – –  I am guilty of skipping myself in the morning “because I was too busy and didn’t have time” or have picked up breakfast out . . .

Hearing my personal excuses in my head, I thought –  “Wait!  If I have time to go through a drive through, or get out of the car, then I have 2 1/2 minutes to make a Healthy Omelet or Frittata that has no preservatives and will give me what I need through the day.”

So today’s recipe is a quick solution to  a WARM and HEALTHY Breakfast FAST!

Egg White Frittata

2 Cherry Tomatoes cut in 1/4ths
3 Egg Whites
1 tsp Italian Herb Seasoning
2 Tbsp 2% Cheddar Cheese

Put first 3 ingredients, and 1 TBSP Cheese in the Tupperware Breakfast Maker.

Microwave on High for 2 1/2 minutes.

Top with Cheese and Serve! YUMMY!!!

 

On the Go?? Through it in a wheat or Flaxseed Wrap and run out the door 🙂
