Fresh Fact: Benefits of Warm Lemon Water

Have you ever had that feeling after a long week that your body seemed to have gotten off balanced? Perhaps you were a little bloated, or your acidity was a little off?

Well, I have totally been there and knew that meant I needed to shock it back into place.  So I started looking online for DETOX regimes, etc and the one thing that all seemed to have in common was waking up every morning with a hot cup of water and FRESH lemon juice.

That combination first thing is said to help cleanse your body and allow you to detoxify your system throughout the day.  How?  Lemons are shown to help stimulate rate of urination ~ which means more toxins are released (and faster) ~ this stimulates your liver and aids the cleansing process!

Balances pH Levels. Lemons are one of the most alkalizing foods you can find. Once in the body and metabolized it actually helps alkalize the blood and can not only help balance you out, it can help reduce pain & inflammation in your joints!
