Fresh Recipe: Sweet Granola

Today on Fresh Tip Tuesday we made this amazing sweet granola and then paired it with Tupperware’s new spiralized yogurt parfait recipe.   Something about making your own granola warms my heart.  Plus, the aroma in the room warms your stomach 🙂  Fun Fresh Fact for all of you, Granola was invited in NYC in 1863 and may help lower your cholesterol and prevent chronic diseases.  WIN WIN!

Sweet Granola
2 cups quick oats
1 cup raisins (or 1/2 cup raisins, 1/2 cup dried cranberries)
1/2 cup nuts, sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
1 tsp Cinnamon-Vanilla Spice (adjust to taste)


In Thasta Bowl, mix together above ingredients with Silicone Spatula. Place onto a baking sheet lined with a Silicone Wonder Mat and bake at 400 for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown. Cool before serving and store in Tupperware to keep it fresh.

**Fresh Twist.  So instead of using a cup of raisins I actually added my favorite new salad topping mix. (natureSource Salad Topper, we get ours from Costco)
