Let it show mix

This weekend I was able to stop by WBTV NEWS to share some great gift giving ideas and this simple and easy LET IT SNOW mix recipe.  We all know the true way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, so when putting together gifts of gratitude I say be sure to fill them up as well!


Serves: 16
Serving Size: 1 snack cup
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 90 seconds + 15 minute stand time 

24 oz./680 g white chocolate baking pieces 

6 cups rice or corn square/ checkered cereal 

1 cup mini pretzels, any variety 

1 cup plain or honey-roasted peanuts 

12 oz./340 mini candy-coated chocolate candies  


1. In the TupperWave® Stack Cooker 3-Qt./3 L Casserole, place baking pieces. Microwave on high power 45 seconds. Remove from microwave, let stand 1 minute. Microwave an additional 45 seconds. Remove from microwave, let stand 1 minute, stir until smooth.

2. Gently stir in cereal, pretzels and peanuts until well coated.

3. Spread mixture evenly onto the Silicone Wonder® Mat; gently press candies into mixture. Let stand 15 minutes to set. Break into pieces, serve in Snack Cups.

The Snack Cups from Tupperware are prefect to store them in when gifting this season.  Or, put in a Soup Mug and say how “SOUPER” they are.

Here is a tag I created so you can print to use with the SOUP MUGS (even if you choose not to fill it up with this mix or candy of your choosing). You can print of AVERY TAGS 80511 or just print on cardstock and cut yourself.  souper with gloves tags

Fresh Recipe: Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie is a tradition in my family at the Holidays.  Here is a traditional family recipe that is devoured by all!!  ((And I hope you too!!)) Plus a very simple pie crust that anyone can do!  Watch the fun clip of me on WBTV as well!screen-shot-2017-01-03-at-7-12-13-pm


Maggie’s Pecan Pie

5 eggs

2 cups sugar

1 cup Karo Syrup

1 stick butter melted

dash salt

1 1/2 cup pecans

1 tsp vanilla


Pour in pie shells and bake at 350 for 45-60 mins.
